Toyota has announced the official EPA fuel economy ratings for the 2024 Land Cruiser hybrid SUV. The combined rating is 23 mpg.
The 2024 Land Cruiser is rated at 22 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway, according to the EPA. These figures apply to all three trim levels.
All 2024 Land Cruisers are powered by the i-Force Max hybrid setup, which combines a turbocharged 2.4-liter inline-four engine with an electric motor.
The new hybrid Land Cruiser's fuel economy figures represent a substantial improvement over the previous generation's V-8 engine.
While Toyota has provided the EPA ratings, real-world fuel economy can vary. The team at Car and Driver will soon conduct their own 75-mph highway fuel.
Regardless of the trim level chosen (1958, Land Cruiser, or First Edition), the fuel economy ratings for the 2024 Land Cruiser remain the same.
The 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser aims to strike a balance between improved fuel efficiency and the off-road capability and performance.
