Kia offers a range of hybrid and plug-in hybrid options, including the Niro, Sportage, and Sorento, catering to those seeking sustainable alternatives to EVs.

Kia Australia has announced the arrival of the Sportage Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) in dealerships, expanding its hybrid lineup in the country.

Australian Debut

The Sportage Hybrid in Australia starts from AUD45,950 (USD30,406), comparable to the US market's starting price.

Sportage Hybrid is available in two grades: SX FWD Auto and GT-Line FWD Auto, with the GT-Line being the flagship variant.

Trim Levels

Sportage Hybrid shares the same powertrain as the larger Sorento Hybrid, with a combined output of 169 kW (226 hp) and 350 Nm.

For those not ready for full electrification or needing a larger vehicle, the Sportage Hybrid offers a sustainable and practical option for Australian families.

With its hybrid powertrain, the Sportage Hybrid promises improved fuel efficiency compared to its gasoline-powered counterparts.
